Do I own the texts I produce on Pro Novelist?
Yes, you own all rights to the text material you produce. We're not in this business to
grab a share of the rights to the text. Pro Novelist is a piece of software which happens
to be implemented as a web service. But that's the only difference. You own all the rights
to all the texts you produce using Pro Novelist.
Which are the technical requirements?
Almost none. You need a Mac or Windows computer and an Internet connection of course.
Pro Novelist works fine with Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox and even the new web
browser from Google, Chrome. You don't need any plugins in your web browser and you
don't have to install any software. The only requirement is that you have switched
on Javascript in the browser. That's the default so unless you have switched off
Javascript it should work fine.
We don't share any of your personal details with anyone. Neither your name nor the email address nor
works you produce on the site. If you choose to share some of your work with other community members
then it's your own decision and you'll be able to do that. But that's your own decision.
No texts, ideas or templates are shared unless you choose to share them with your community friends.
How can it be free? What's the catch?
It's quite simple: We make money on the ads. That makes it possible for us to provide Pro Novelist
for you, free of charge.
Writing environment and community for professional novelists and script writers.
